Pacifica is referred to as the "Scrapped Princess", the girl who is cursed from birth to destroy the world on her sixteenth birthday, according to a prophecy from the Church of Mauser. She was abandoned as an infant by her parents, and later adopted by the Casull family, who have helped raise her until she became fifteen years of age.
Pacifica is the adopted sister of Shannon and Raquel Casull, who act as her bodyguards throughout their adventure. She also has a twin brother named Forsythe, who is not introduced until episode 4 of the anime[1].
Pacifica is normally a cheerful person, and has very little trouble making friends. However, due to the public's distrust of her, she has a tendency to break down into tears and blame herself for everyone's suffering. She also has a large appetite, and will not hesitate to ask for something to eat whenever passing from town to town.
Pacifica often shows great affection for Shannon. She says at the end of episode 1 that she "loves him a lot". Shannon answers this saying he knows. Their affection stands on a very fine line between romance and sibling love. Even more so is the man Furet who she lives with during the span of time that she loses her memory. She stays with him and they both fall in love with each other. His skill with a blade, personality, and even physical appearance match Shannon's almost exactly in some scenes. When he dies, Pacifica cries and screams but loses all memory of him when her memories of her life before him return. She also has a teasing flirtation with Leo who often pledges love and devotion, begging to marry her.
